RepRapFirmware for Duet Ethernet Frequent Disconnects of DWC

Hi all,
Hoping to get some insight into an issue I am having. Here is the info first.The printer is a Fusion3 F410.
Firmware Name: RepRapFirmware for Duet Ethernet
Firmware Electronics: Duet Ethernet 1.0
Firmware Version: Fusionware 1.18.1 RC2 (2017-05-15)
Web Interface Version: 1.19.3

Licensed under the terms of the GPL v3The issue I am having is I am getting frequent disconnects with the DWC, Windows 10 with Edge.
This is a replacement printer. The first machine did not have this disconnect issue. Board and firmware etc. should be the same as the first printer.
I am using wired Ethernet connection with a static IP assigned in the printer. Same configuration as the first printer. No changes to router or switch.I get the typical AJAX disconnect message but the reason given is "unauthorized" rather than timed out or anything else.
This can happen while prints are running or if the printer is sitting idle.Thank you for any advice and I can try to provide any additional info that may be needed.

Web Interface Version: 1.19.3Given the age of the firmware and DWC versions I would suggest updating. There's been a lot of fixes since.

Also due to the age of the firmware the update procedure can be a bit involved until you get to 2.0 at which point it just becomes a matter of uploading a zip file from the main release.

I appreciate the advice. Problem is that Fusion3 uses their own fork of the standard package on this printer so updating is not at all straight forward.
I am working with them to try to identify what may be going on but so far they are at a loss.Someone from a RepRap forum suggested I ask over here to see if anyone may have some insight.
As I mentioned in my post the odd thing is that the previous printer, same model, board firmware DWC etc. did not have this issue. Printer runs fine but the DWC just constantly disconnects.

@wirlybird you could try increasing the number of AJAX retries on the Settings > General tab. See https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Duet_Web_Control_Manual#Section_General

Thanks. I did this and it didn't seem to make any difference. I still get the disconnect due to "not authorized"
I have commented out the password for now to see if that has any effect on it. -
