A while back there was supposed to be a way to use M3 to turn on the laser for focusing without movement. It still shows pending in the page I have seen for upcoming changes.
Is this still on the horizon or is it been left for dead?

Can I get an answer or is this an issue that is going nowhere?

Has anyone found a way to achieve this yet?

@phaedrux I'm also interested in this. It'd be nice to have an easy way to focus the laser... Currently I just set it to low power with low speed, but that's not optimal.

If there's no firmware way is there an easy macro that would work? I'm on rrf 3.1 I think.

                  Thanks!
