      Hi everyone,

      I got 2 questions regarding meshbed-probing:

      • is anything planned for recording heatplate-temperature while probing? This could be beneficial so to do a probing in lowest printtemp state and 1 in hottest state (e.g. 90°C or so) to see if plate is moving in z or not... In future with this any temperature between might be interpolated from that base...?
      • how does z-mesh compensation work over z-layers? Will it "wobble" with the compensation from 1st layer to last z-layer or does it slowly even out the unevenness, let´s say over a certain amount of layers or mm? And if not is something like this is planned?

      Best regards

        Hi,

Check out M376 - it can reduce the amount of adjustment as the current layer moves farther and farther from the bed.
