Problems with MB6HC and EXP3HC
-
I am struggling to get motors V and W to Move / Home. They appear to just vibrate, the connections appear good but I am at a loss as what to do next.
What are the G28 W error warnings?
By way of a little bit of background for various settings
The main board works well, all seems to function with that. Its just the expansion board that is giving problems. Power supply is separate 24v to expansion board (no link to main board.
CanBus lights appear in sync and the end stop response (optical end stops) is correct and gives the correct information / responses.

@kj3d you have different firmware versions on the main board (3.2.2) and expansion board (3.1.0). Update the expansion board to the same version as the main board. Ideally, update both to the current 3.3 beta3 version; it has a lot of fixes for CAN issues.

Thanks for the quick response - where do I find the latest firmware and how is the best way to update it. I tried to get it via the RRF tool and that failed to update the firmware.

Uploading the full zip file to the system tab in DWC should prompt to update everything. If it's still not in sync after that send M997 B1 to initiate the flash of the expansion board.
