Creating time-lapses via ip camera

Hi, is it possible to create time-lapses using the duet wifi?
I have my old phone set up with the app Ip Webcam to stream to the duet's web interface but I wanted to look into making time-lapses of my prints. Its a hassle to set them up all the time manually and ideally a function in the duet firmware would have the function built in but if not is it possible to send something like http requests via g-code etc?

That would need to be done in DuetWebControl, but I don't know if it's possible to add or not.

Hmm okey, is there any interface to write a plugin or is it just to start digging through the sourcefiles for the DWC?
