      Hi,

I'm getting some PT100 temperature fluctuations with effector movement, so I'm suspecting the wiring on my smart effector. I have also stripped the screw terminals undefinedon the RTD board.

Couldn't locate a BOM in KiCAD files on github.

Q1: What is the part number for the Molex KK crimps used on the 8 way SIL connector on the Smart effector - I would like to replace the crimps in the cable harness to gold plated.

Q2: What is the part number for the 4 way screw terminal connector used on the RTD board

      Many Thanks,

      J.

@jujudelta for the Smart Effector crimp pins, see https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Connector_and_spare_part_numbers. The terminal block on the PT100 board is just a standard 4 way 2.54mm pitch one.

Most likely you have a bad crimp connection on one of the PT100 pins in that 8-way connector.

I don't think that's supposed to be installed like that - if you have a four-wire connection, the jumpers should be off (or at least, not shorting - I normally turn them 90 degrees and leave them on one pin). Effectively I think you've turned a four-wire PT100 into a 2-wire one.

(Or is that a temporary fix due to your connection problem? )

@achrn Yes I was trying to debug my 2 wire PT100 circuit, hence the doubling up of the wires.

This was the culprit in the end......p3.jpeg
Will recrimp at work tomorrow with the proper molex microfit tool.
            Luckily I have a spare PT100
