Disable the minimum temperature for extruding/retracting
-
Good afternoon, I'd like to know if it's possible to disable (or customize) the minimum temperature wich allows to extrude/retract the filament.
I try to explain (at the best that my awful English allow me to do) why I need so: with my current (double) bowden configuration when a pause occurs I've configured the .g script to retract for the whole tube leght minus 3mm to leave a "little" of filament in the BMG gears. Despite the fact that the first mm of retraction are made at "high" speed and acceleration it ALWAYS creates a "tail" of melted filament after the filament tip that ALWAYS clogs in the extruder throats entry when I reload the filament. Of course if the pause happens when I'm near the printer I can take off the filament, cut the tip and reload it. The problem is when I'm not home...I forgot to say that the pause usually doesn't happen for REAL problems (filament runout, under or over extrusion) but (fortunately not as often as in the past) for the magnetic filament sensor false read. In this situations I remotely connect to the DWC and select to run the print again. The
BMGs are (almost always) cabable to catch the filament again and drive it trough the tube...now it comes the problem: the "melted tail" filament, as I said before, clogs the thoats entry...so my need is to make a sort of cold pull before retracting in the pause lowering the temp at about 150 °C because I've experimented that at this temperature the melted tail doesn't create but I think the filament is still "fluid" enough to be retraced (well, this is a supposition to be honest). At this temperature the retraction isn't enabled...is there a way to change this threshold? Thanks and sorry for the long post....

This may allow you to do what you want:

ehm...I don't think so..M564 is related only to axes movements I think....

Whoops you are correct. I will fix that. I should learn not to trust my memory.

Excellent, it's exactly what I need!
Thank you very much!
