Is it possible that i can remap the z axis to External stepper driver (in my case TB6600) without actully using the expansion board because i pretty much don't seem to have a need of other things of duex board like more integrated drivers, thermistors, heater outputs etc.
for ex: i can use the pins 5, 7, 9, 11 to connect the TB6600?

Thank you for your help in advance 🙂

Check the TB6600 datasheet. If it is OK with 3.3V signals on step, dir, enable you can wire it directly.
If it needs differential signals or 5V you can use the much cheaper expansion breakout board

@o_lampe hugely thank you so much!
that worked...i was just confused regarding the 3.3 v pin because on the TB6600 there is only 5v pin but somehow that worked without any problems; tbh that mini breakout board is the real lifesaver.
