Yet another BLtouch problem

Think I must be going blind here just cannot see the problem, Running Version 3 firmware
I have a BLTouch plugged in, I'm using the pins on the expansion card plugin from a Duet 2. I have a brown and red set respectively on gnd and +5. Yellow is set on HEATER7, White and black are set on Zprobe_in and Gnd respectively
When I boot it up I get deploy and retract 2X but cannot M401/M402 the probe. Deploy and retract macros do not work either. No blue light on the probe. Can someone have a look at my config and see what I'm missing here? I know it's gonna be something obvious.....

@macgyver If you have the expansion breakout board. From the documentation:
"If you have a Expansion Breakout Board, it's !exp.heater6 or !exp.heater7 ('!' inverts the output, and is needed)."

No, I don't have the duex
I am using the connector where the duex would plug into. I am using a couple of DuPont connectors to use the 3 connections I need within it.

I agree, Cannot remember at this point why I had it there.
I have commented it out and restarted it. Still no blue light and no response from M401/402 or the macros
I have it plugged into Heater7 and I have the pin called

Btw, what kind of BLTouch do you have. Can you trust the wire colours. Mine is a genuine BLTouch but sold by Creality and the wire colours are completely different.
Also, blue light. I have no blue light on my bltouch only the red glow (I haven't seen any anyway).

Can you show a photo of the wiring?
Have you tested the wiring for continuity with a multimeter?
Can you verify that your deploy and retract macros are located in the /sys folder? -

I have removed completely both lines you mentioned.
I am attaching a photo of the wiring. Currently, this is basically a retro install to a D600 so it's a bit of a beast to move around. To eliminate a wiring issue through the drag chain I have used an official BLtouch and the short wiring that comes with it to jack straight into the board. I did a sanity check and verified the wiring of the short harness and it's good.
I looked in my System menu on my DWC and the deploy and retract macros are in the same folder physical folder as the config.g.
I would have to yank the SD card to absolutely verify if you would like it.
Just noticed something odd though. I have a deployprobe and retractprobe macro, as well as a deployprobe.g and a retractprobe.g. Im gonna pull the card and verify locations.

the Deploy and retract macros were in the macros folder. I have made a copy of them and now they are located in both macro and sys folders.
Rebooted the printer and still nothing.
If I go to the next step and type; M280 P0 S10 which is out of the deploy macro then still nothing happens. That being said it stands to reason that something in my config.g is incorrect?

- this one is telling the Duet where the input of the trigger is going, which technically should be used until after the probe gets deployed. But if not configured correctly will prevent the blue light from coming on, which is true in my case. No blue light at all. Only red

I have updated the grid spacing to 28.5 as suggested in the last output.
I have removed the F switch on the M563 on line 73.Now the error message has changed substantially

TELNET is disabledI am still getting a solid red light on the BLtouch but no blue at all. My understanding is the blue light is your confirmation the "sig" or yellow wire is functional on the board? that being said if I am correct it's not seeing the "rdy" on the heater5 pin on the EXP connector.
I did double-check the wiring on the EXP and I was off by a pin so that is now confirmed to be in the correct location.

This is fine, but if you have no actua endstop connected to the zstop pins you'll end up with more problems if you ever tried to actually home the Z axis with an endstop movement command. (G1 H1 Z)

I've gone the next step, I have a new Duet 2 board, just sitting on my desk, I have moved the firmware over to it and flashed it at 3.3.
Its a little easier to move pins around and troubleshoot with the board on my desk instead of at the bottom of a big ol printer.
I have replicated the current install of the board in the printer and still getting the same symptoms.
I have put an M401 and M402 at the end of my config.g so if the pin deploys and stows 3 times on startup it should be working fine. I have used a new BLtouch, New short harness for the BLtouch.
The only thing I have hooked to it is the BLtouch and an i7 screen. I also wanted to eliminate the possibility that the board is bad in the printer and I think this is the best way to do it.
To give updates, I have tried heater 5,3, and 8. None of them change any of the symptoms. M401 and M402 do not work.
