Hardware suppliers for custom build

I'm looking at my first custom build, and I think I will buy most electronics (Duet included) from MatterHackers. However they don't really have any mechanical parts (framing, threaded rods, etc) or PSUs. Can I do any better than Amazon?

Aliexpress is a common source for many mechanical and 3D printer components but many of them are also sold on amazon for a higher price and lower waiting time.

@zapta thanks so much for this. Strategically, I'm trying to stick with Amazon mainly for the return policy.

@virgosystems I get my extrusions from https://us.misumi-ec.com/ You can get the length you need and not have worry about cutting them to the right length.
