@dc42 I recently built up 4 tools and tool distribution board. Out of the 8 leads provided, one of them had the color pairs swapped.

It was easy enough to fix, but I thought I should tell you.

@gnydick Yes I've encountered different sets of colours too. We'll add a note in the documentation.

@dc42 no offense, but shouldn't the point be to fix QC? I think it's pretty obvious for people to look at the colors of the wires they're using.

@gnydick we buy those leads from a bulk supplier, and they don't guarantee particular colours.

@dc42 same question... Why is that acceptable? You don't find random wire color ordering on any other product. It's especially worse because it's not a thoroughly mixed bag. It's much easier to miss when it's a low sample size.

@dc42 A quick solution would be to at least sort the leads into sets, so any one package has all identical leads. That way you can continue to buy the bulk leads, but any single user doesn't have to deal with the variation.

@mendenmh that wouldn't work for me. I bought 4 toolboards and a distribution board. Each toolboard came with one and the distribution board came with 4. They aren't a complete set that would have been matched together.
