      Hi All,

I have a CreatBot F430 which is giving me a lot of problems with poor print quality. And obviously, I wont be getting any firmware help from the manufacturer. Can folks who have performed a transition to Duet offer some help to get the transformation process started. Maybe there are settings folks have discovered which can be documented publicly for future reference?

I haven't worked with 3d printer firmware before, but I think I am savvy enough to follow steps if you guys could point me in the right direction, and maybe share what you have learned while doing this for your units?

      Thanks!
      Merlin.

Try searching the forum for your printer, there are likely others who have made the conversion.

In general though, see here for the basics on converting any printer.

          Thank you for that reference.

I did go through the forums before I posted here, and I found several posts, including a few linking to the Arduino -> RepRap transition. The core problem is that the manufacturer will not share anything about the F430's settings. None of the posts documented what folks learned during the transition. I was hoping to learn where the pitfalls are before I do something which fries the unit.
