Duet not communicating after installation of firmware
-
Dear,
I want to ask for help with solving a problem with the device Duet 3 Mainboard 6HC v1.02.
After uploading the firmware via the web interface 3.5.4, the device stopped communicating. My colleague tried to upload via Bossa which worked until the Verify dropped this error:
Verify failed
Page errors: 1555
Byte errors: 788187We tried multiple cables and firmware versions. Power supply was done via USB.
We have no idea what could be wrong.
Could we send the product to Duet3D in case you will not be able to help us online?Best regards,

@konvalm What PC are you trying to flash the 6HC with? MacOS doesn't work, unfortunately. Windows and Linux should work fine. Make sure you follow the guide here: https://docs.duet3d.com/User_manual/RepRapFirmware/Updating_firmware#fallback-procedure-2
Main tips for successful flashing:
- Make sure you are using a good quality USB lead, that is a power AND data lead (some are just power leads)
- If you're using Windows to flash, try a different USB port, and check that you see a "Bossa programming port" in the Device Manager
- Erase the board again (with the jumper) just before flashing
- Make sure the check boxes for "Erase all", "Lock", and "Boot to flash" are selected in Bossa before flashing
