Our recommendation is to use 24V fans - they don't cost much on eBay.

Alternatively, you can do as I've done, and use a buck converter between the 24v psu to feed a 12v supply into the V_fan terminal of the fan jumper block. This lets the duet and everything else function off the main 24v supply and the fans all use 12v.

I'm using a resistor. An accurate calculation is required by Ohm's law. For blowing two fans 12V. It's OK.

There are lots of threads on fans.
            Easiest options:

            1. use all 24v fans if you have 24v PSU
            2. use all 5V fans if you can

Or search for buck converter/secondary PSU options.
