          1. How are you sending the M587 command? If you are using Pronterface or a similar USB host program, it is probably converting the characters in the password to uppercase.

          2. Check that your router encryption is set to WPA2-PSK.

                        Reading notes it says wifi will pick the strongest signal, I suspect I was chasing my tail over multiple wifi networks "fighting for who was the strongest" signal.

                          In firmware 1.20 and later you can force it to connect to a particular WiFi network using the P parameter in the M552 command.

                            @dc42:

                            1. How are you sending the M587 command? If you are using Pronterface or a similar USB host program, it is probably converting the characters in the password to uppercase.

                            2. Check that your router encryption is set to WPA2-PSK.

                            1. I switched to YAT.

                            2. Its set as its set there was no change. WPA2-personal, it looks like the "operating system" become corrupt? at least that is the signs. Now on 1.19.2 the cooling fan now runs OK and I have movement of the 3 axis.

                            Reading the docs I could see a comment that the duet "chases" the strongest wifi signal? I know in that part of the house the signal is weak and with 6 SSIDs in my house alone its possible that was the problem as when I moved the printer to 2m from the router I got an IP and a connection pretty quickly.

                            Anyway I am now testing to see what has changes with this firmware have "broken" what.
