    Hi guys,

I'm sure I'm missing something simple but I can't seem to figure out what.

I'm using a mac, so have connected via terminal. I have verified firmware is 1.19.2 and ascertained that the wifi module is enabled and it returns idle status.

    I enter the command

    M587 S”NETGEAR13” P”wifipassword”

(but obviously with my actual password) expecting it to then confirm the connection and return the IP address…. but instead I get

"Error: G-Code buffer 'serial' length overflow"

Further, when I first connect this is the return:

RepRapFirmware for Duet WiFi Version 1.19.2 dated 2017-09-01

Executing config.g…Error: G-Code buffer 'daemon' length overflow
Error: G-Code buffer 'daemon' length overflow
Error: G-Code buffer 'daemon' length overflow
Warning: Heater 0 appears to be over-powered. If left on at full power, its temperature is predicteError: G-Code buffer 'serial' length overflow

which strikes me as slightly odd.

I have tried a few times now, got no idea what I'm doing wrong. Any guidance? Power is purely through the USB as per the instructions if that is relevant.

    Cheers

Not silly at all! I guess you have a very long password. The buffer size was increased in firmware 1.20 because someone else previously reported this problem with 1.19. So I suggest you upgrade main firmware to 1.20 first.

          Hi,

I've got the same problem with a brand new card that arrived today.

Just connected it to my Mac and have started the connection guide. I connect my Mac up and run the screen command boom I just get these errors:

          [[language]]
RepRapFirmware for Duet WiFi Version 1.19.2 dated 2017-09-01
Executing config.g...Error: G-Code buffer 'daemon' length overflow
Error: G-Code buffer 'daemon' length overflow
Error: G-Code buffer 'daemon' length overflow
Warning: Heater 0 appears to be over-powered. If left on at full power, its temperature is predicteError: Temperature reading fault on heater 1: sensor open circuit

          What should I do now?

            Spoke too soon…
I ignored the error and typed the commands from the guide and it worked..
