      Hi,

I'm not able to set my jerk for Z below a value of "60", everything above is accepted using the M566 Z… command over console or config.g. I dont have any config-overdrive.g file. Any help appreciated. Firmware is 1.21 but same happens on 1.21RCX firmware.

The firmware enforces a minimum jerk of 60mm/min i.e. 1mm/sec, to avoid the firmware crashing if someone tries to set a zero or negative jerk. Have you any reason to believe that 1mm/sec is too fast for your machine?

My jerk settings all time for z-axis was 24mm/min so 0.4mm/sec i have a feeling comparing my other prints to the actual that the print quality in z-axis decreased….

I'll allow Z jerk at least to be set as low as 12mm/min in the next release.

For Zesty Nimble remote direct drive extruder suggested jerk or instant speed change setting is 0.6 mm/sec or 40 mm/min (M566 E40)…

Thanks! I've changed the version 2 firmware code to allow down to 0.1mm/sec. In the event that we do a 1.21.1 maintenance release, I'll do the same change in that.

For the sake of consistency and predictability of functionality, would it be possible to make the minimum 0.1 mm/s for every axis, including undefined ones?

                    Yes, I've done that.
