Tried adding the I1 to the M558, still nothing. The bltouch doesnt make any sounds.

Running M307 H3 returns "Heater 3 is disabled"

        Probably a wiring issue then.

I've checked the wiring multiple times and even tried a buddies known working bltouch.

You could try heater pin 7 instead of 3. See if that makes a difference for you.

Can you confirm that you are running with VIN power applied and the internal 5V regulator is enabled?

The jumper is on the internal 5v pins, and Vin LED illuminated.

Can you post a photo showing how the bltouch is connected to the Duet?

The wiring looks OK to me and I didn't spot anything wrong with the commands you are using. The +5V and ground connections must be more or less OK if the bltouch self test works and the red light comes on. So it's either a problem with the orange control wire, or with the heater 3 output on the Duet. When you tried your friend's bltouch, did you use his cable too?

Sorry its taken me so long to reply, Ive been quite busy and haven't had much time for the printer. The BL touch is now working. I tried a new wire and sure enough, that was it. Thank you for all the help, its been greatly appreciated.
