Heater problem
-
Hello!
Second thread, and more issues. Duet Wifi in a Delta.
I cannot get my hotend to heat up, it is actually worse that that, I do not seem to get any voltage on my E0/E1 outputs.I disconnected my cables, and attached my oscilloscope to the E0 (and for that matter E1) output. I turned the heater on but i still get no voltage on the E0 / E1
Is there any setting i may have missed. Seeming i messed up my endstops earlier, it is far from unlikely.
if i heat my hotend with my hand, I can see a slow rise in the readout for Tool0 which is on Heater 1.
If i measure resistanse over my heater cable (all the way from the end that was connected to myu Duet i get 5 ohms with the 6-pin connector of the Smart Effector connected, and "infinite" if i unplug the 6-pin connector. So, that seem to be reasonable.
The heater indicator led does turn on on the Duet Wifi, but not on the smart effector if i have it connected.
If i disconnect the heater cables from the Duet Wifi and power it from my lab supply it heats up nicely, and the amber led on the smart effector turns on.

Let me answer my own question and give you a laugh…. This apparently happens when you do not notice your PSU being turned off and you still have USB power.
Yeah.. I did do that.
