Why if i set the chamber heater on H6 or H7 duet won't bot?
If i change it to H3 all is fine.

The problem is that i've only the : Duet Expansion Header Breakout .
If i use the H3 directly from pin 8 the PWM seems inverted. Any suggestion?

      Thanks!

That sounds odd. With firmware version are you using? Please post the config.g file that causes the Duet to fail to boot.

The heater outputs on the expansion bus are active low.

That config.g works fine for me, but I don't have an external stepper driver interface board to test it with;. I am wondering whether your interface board might be faulty. Does the Duet fail to boot with that config.g file when the interface board is not connected? Does it fail to boot when the interface board is connected but nothing is connected to the H7 output?

EDIT: disregard the above, I have reproduced the problem.

I believe I have found the problem. Will be fixed in RC3.

EDIT: the fix is now tested and working.

I released RC4 this morning but I haven't had time to finish documenting it yet. It includes the fix for configuring chamber heaters. Please try it.
