-
Running on 1.2.1 Duet Wifi... Slice a print via S3D 4.0.1 and set printing speed to 100mm/s... it started to print for around 5 mins and it HANGS.... no respond... cannot cancel nor resume nor anything.... hit the emergency response... nope... had to flip the hard switch off and on again...
Reslice the same thing in S3D... but in 50mm/s.... it still printing now... what gives? DuetWifi got over loaded? it isn't a complex print either.. just a bracket for my MKS Gen-L for my Mini HEVO
Board geting toasted? or bug? or got overloaded?
(Did it twice today...)Here is the file 4megs:

Please try printing at the original speed using firmware 2.0RC2. Are you using high microstepping on the X and/or Y axes?

I’ve same problem using 256 micro step. If I set it to 128 microstep seems no problem at all.

Again, please try firmware 2.0RC2. This was a known issue with 1.21, believed fixed in 2.0RC builds.

Do you think the 2.0 firmware is stable? I can use it everyday whit a good trusting?
-
@pacioc193 Given that it is a release candidate it's probably going to be stable enough but there might also be unknown issues. If you have the time to do some testing on this issue it's easy enough to upgrade and then downgrade back to 1.21 afterwards. Otherwise reduce microstepping for the time being to side step the issue.
