Current Sense Resistors on the Duet
-
Hi,
Does anyone know what's the manufacturer part number of the 0R051 current sense resistors used in the Duet? (e.g. R32, R33, R44, R45 in the Schematics)?
Short of that, I know the resistance and package size (1206) of these resistors, but I'm looking for their exact power rating - Does anyone know what it is?
Many thanks,
SnowCrash -
The power rating is 0.33W, sufficient to carry 2.5A continuous current. AFAIR they are 0805 not 1206.

Thanks, @dc42!
Re the package, I was going by what I was seeing in Kicad, but I know next to nothing about working with this particular software so maybe I got it wrong:
While we're on the subject, is there a complete BOM for the Duet published somewhere?

You can export the BOM from KiCad.

I did (or, at least, think I did... see attached), but for some parts like the current sense resistors, it doesn't specify the part's MPN or other relevant info like power rating (which in the case of the said resistors is quite important).

At the moment we are using RL1632S-R051-F but with current shortages of passives you may need to search for others with the same specification - 0R051 1206 1% >=500mW.

I was wrong, the size is 1206 not 0805 and the rating is 500mW as Roland says. I was thinking of the Duet Maestro.

Thank you very much, @Roland!
Yeah, the shortages are becoming a real pain, but I was lucky enough to find a slightly more powerful alternative in the form of ERJ8BWFR051V so I'm good
