    I am using both Z and U axis to drive two motors for z movement. I tried changing the step for z in the config.g file, but then the z and u motors moved at different speeds. I never had to sync the z and u so not sure how to write new parameters to config file.

      Set the Z and U axes to the same steps/mm and microstepping to ensure that they move at the same speed.
