Cura: PauseAtHeight post-processing script
-
Hi all,
I just pushed a PR to the Cura GitHub project: https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/pull/4273/, which adds a new post-processing script to insert a
M226
pause at a specified height. I think I posted the snippet on the forum a while ago as well, so now I want to integrate it directly with Cura.Would be nice if anyone could give it a try, and maybe leave a on the PR - if it works for you!

Could be worth posting something on the Cura forum (https://community.ultimaker.com/forum/108-cura-plugins/) also.

@resam What I can see immediately as a possible issue that this will also trigger if the Z-height is reached via Z-hop or did I miss something?
-
@wilriker yes - possibly. But this issues is present in all other PauseAtHeight plugins in Cura.
For RRF I would recommend using firmware retracts+hop anyway. -

Didn't know that. But would it be hard to check the vicinity for another

line? For RRF I would recommend using firmware retracts+hop anyway.
I do that from day one. I wouldn't want any other way. It is quite often that I change z-hop mid print. I love the live-configurability of RRF.
