Wiring and configuring 4 wire heatbed thermistor

I'm in progress of installing Duet WiFi in my Wanhao D4S. It comes with a 4 wire thermistor for the heated bed. How should I install and configure this?

Do you have any more information about what the thermistor is?

A 4-wire thermistor would be very unusual. Are you sure it isn't a PT100? If you have a multimeter, measure the resistance between all the different wires.

I tried connecting signal and ground and it seems to work fine without changing sensor type in configuration. Maybe it would be more accurate though if I also connect it to +5V?

Just use SIG and GND, and leave the 5V pin not connected.
