meta: Does flagging posts / replies as spam help?

Hi,

a quick question to the moderators: Does it help you if we flag stuff for moderation, or is it an additional annoyance for you? I don't want to accidentally cause additional work...

If it's a blatant spam flood such as we had this morning, it's not necessary. If it's a subtle spam post tacked on to the end of an existing thread, then we may otherwise miss it, so please report it.
