      Hi there,
just wanted to show you what all is possible using a Duet Wifi 🙂

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvXCyZwuqzM

      1. G28 home all axis
      2. G32 - auto bed compensation. There are 2 servos "popping" up to define a fixed point for the BLTouch to level the Z-Axis
      3. Clean the nozzle
      4. Mesh bed compensation (this is no longer shown on the video)

      Everything solved using macros 🙂

(here you can see the servos popping up more detailed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0h5YHoAH68 )

I really like the Duet! 🙂

      greetings kuhni

Interesting. Are you automatically wiping your nozzle with that brass brush too?

Whats your reasoning behind homing on the servo and not on the bed?

          Seems like an extra step.

@sungod3k Leveling on Servos is to correct possible misalignment on the x-axis caused by 2 independent Stepper motors on the right and left. So you get 2 fix points that never change. As the bed is moving / print parts are taken off / it heats up and cools down etc. It gets uneven from time to time. So the error would be potentiated.

ok, but dont we want to measure the error from the continuously changing bed? the servo arms stay in place, but the bed "wanders" off the longer you use it until the arms and the bed are too far apart.

@sungod3k I think you got something wrong. We have 2 things here:

                  1. "Axis compensation" - if the x-axis is not 100 % straight, it gets adjusted. (by the 2 servos as fix points)
                  2. "Bed leveling" - after the x- axis leveled and 100 % straight, the bed gets probed at several points to compensate height differences while printing.

Hope you got it now? Point 1 has nothing to do with bed leveling. It is just to ensure that my x-axis isn't tilted.

                  greetings kuhni
