I have the 7" integrated paneldue display. I send it some gcode to make to buzzer sound (M300 P500 S1000) and i can hardly hear it, when i adjust the volume under settings.... volume 0 or all the way up to volume 5 the volume dosent change. I want to use this buzzer as a end of print alarm, but the volume of it makes it useless. perhaps im missing something because adjusting the volume seems to make no difference in how loud it is. any ideas?

The volume should definitely change with the setting. Have you tried different frequencies? AFAIR the piezo buzzer is loudest at around 2400Hz.
