DUET LASER FILAMENT MONITOR for 3mm/2.85mm filament

It is available for 1.75mm diameter filament only. Do you guys of anything similar to use for 3mm/2.85mm filament run out sensor.

You can use the laser filament monitor with larger diameter filament, you just need to modify the printable housing design to accommodate the larger filament and PTFE tubing and hold it a little further away from the sensor. This would be quite straightforward, you just need to change a few lines of the OpenScad design file.

I've just checked, and you can make all the changes using Customizer in Thingiverse. Go to https://www.thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=2746340. The defaults are about right for 1.75mm filament. Increase the two diameters for 2.85 or 3mm filament.

OK, I have an IDEX printer so I will be using two filament sensor .
