Does baby stepping stay where you set it for all subsequent prints until you change it again, or does it reset? On My Prusas, when you adjust with Baby stepping (live Z Tuning) It retains that offset indefinitely. It looks like it may reset with the duet.. Is this correct?

On later firmware versions it is retained until power off or until you explicitly reset it https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/GCode#Section_M290_Baby_stepping

If you need to make the baby stepping change every print, you can take the value you use for baby stepping and apply it to your G31 Z offset to make it permanent.
