When you started, did you get all 4 spots, one on each edge of the screen? If not then you had firmware installed for the wrong size touch panel. PanelDues are normally supplied with firmware for the 4.3 inch screen installed.

I just tested inverting the display on my 7" screens. On my display, the spots do appear, however the colours are wrong. If I touch the spots, ignore the strange colours and touch Save Settings, then if i power down/up or press the reset button, the display is inverted as expected and the colours are correct.

I don't know why you can't see the sports, but I'll do a new firmware build that fixes the colours shortly. Meanwhile, you could try touching where you think the pots ought to be, based on where they are when you press Calibrate Touch but inverted of course.

I've put a new build of the PanelDue firmware for 7" screen at https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19369680/PanelDue-7.0.bin.

Try switching to the light colour scheme before you invert the display.

I'm glad it worked. Looks like I forgot to change the colour of the calibration spots when you select the dark theme. The dark theme isn't finished yet because I need to palletize the icons so that they use sensible colours in both themes.
