    hi i am planning on installing an air pump system similar to the berd one but i need to know if i have to use the e switch that makerhive sell or is there an alternative, i only ask because makerhive have stopped shipping outside of the us.

      The e-switch is recommended if you use a fan output because of the high starting current of the air pump motor. Alternatively you can connect it to a spare heater output if you have one, but in that case you also need to add a flyback diode.
