      Hey,
just stumbled today over it: When setting up load and unlaod filament it seemed like also I just had loaded the filament (with the script) and the heater was still well above ca. 190°C (from original 200something °C) slowly declining I tried the unloading script (where I just specified a temperature of around 155°C) I saw on the graph, that the machine waited for the temperature deline to ca. 155°C and then I thought: If I could tell the duet2 a threshold below and above target-temp where "wait till..." is "fulfilled", actually more or less "bigger than" or "smaller then" this could speed things up in certain situations...

Feedback very welcomed if this is a stupid firmware wish, because it is already solved or similar, but I could not find...

This is already implemented, but I forgot to add the new parameter to the documentation. I'll do that what I am in the office again.

I just checked the code. The M116 S parameter sets the tolerance, default 2 degC.

O.K. - if that tolerance is 1/2+ and 1/2- then in this case I wouldn´t touch it..., but if I could specify it let´s say in my above described case

              1. adjust tolerance separate for +&- e.g. something like "+100/-1"(°C) and later set it back to "+1/-1"(°C)

              or

              1. DO NOT adjust the tolerance BUT give a temp-range e.g. "155-205°C" (independent of/with default +-2°C tolerance)

(possibly very likely only for me ? 🙂 )

Edit: Just spotted that combined with M302 this does maybe serve the need...

Thanks. I've added a note that the new parameter is only available in firmware 2.02/1.23 and later.
