Quick question, if external TCM2130 stepsticks are added to a Maestro (stepsticks on a breadboard) and configured for X & Y motion (on CoreXY), can the Maestro firmware use Stallguard / sensorless homing for these?

The other 5 drivers would be used for Z (x3 or x4) and extruder.

In theory yes, but you would need to connect the TMC2130 drivers to the SPI bus so that you can program the stall threshold, add support for the TMC2130 in the firmware, and add support for mixing different smart driver types in firmware. So not easy.
