my nearly new (less than 2 month) Duet Wifi stopped working suddenly.
I was not longer able to access the web interface. i wanted to check the SD card and it was extremely hot.
Its also not readable on the computer any longer.

i took a new one and added the basig file structure and my old config files.
but nothing, still not accessible over the web gui.

i connected via USB and YAT and could connect to the board.

but now im not able to get the WiFi back working. i weel like i went through all posts i could find related to WiFi issues but i can't get it back working.

i get always the error message that the SSID could not be added to the list. already tried to remove it and re-add, same thing.

does it mean the bord is gone, just after under 2 month?

I think you have had over-voltage on the 3.3V rail. When this happens, the SD card and the WiFi module are typically the first components to be damaged. This would explain why the SD card was getting hot, and the fact that you have been unable to re-flash the WiFi firmware suggests that the WiFi module has also been damaged.

As the board is only 2 months old I will approve a warranty replacement; but please check your wiring for anything that could have caused a short between the +3.3V rail (which is brought out on the Z probe connector, endstop connectors, main expansion connector and daughter board connector) or the +5V rail, and anything else.
