Hope someone can help with this issue....

I have an Ender 5 with a genuine v2.2 BlTouch that refuses to deploy when I home. I just replaced the Creality (BlTouch working fine) board with a Duet Maestro. When I click home all, the x and y axis home as normal, the bed moves up but the probe will not deploy.
On power up the probe will do a self test with no error. I can also send M401 and M402 commands successfully.

I'm quite new to the RepRap firmware so any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks,

      Phill

@phillbo said in BLTouch wont deploy:

G92 Z0 ; set Z position to axis minimum (you may want to adjust this)

You need to remove that form homez and I am going to guess it's in homeall as well.

Also, M558 H2 is a pretty low dive height for the BLTouch. Just make sure you have enough distance between the probe and the bed for the pin to successfully drop and settle.

I've removed G92 from both Homez and homeall. Probe still wont deploy prior to bed moving up?

You've also removed the G30. You'll need to actually probe the bed.

So remove G1 S1 Z-305 F3000 ; move Z down stopping at the endstop and replace it with G30

Thank you Phaedrux. Homing the z axis now works perfectly.....Why aren't these settings correctly added when running the config?

@phillbo strange. Did you choose BLTouch in the configurator and select none for z endstop?
