can anyone tell me what type/ gauge wire to use for my hot end(mosquito) 50 watt and is there anything special about the thermistor wire? factory wires are too short.

      Thanks

There is nothing special about the thermistor wire, except that any part of it that might come into contact with the heater block should be protected by heat resistant sleeving.

Is your hot end heater 12V or 24V? That affects the current, and hence the minimum wire gauge.

the wire that you are using to extend should be at least the same diameter or bigger.
