      So it looks like there is a speaker on the 12864 reprap discount display. Is it possible to access this feature? I am thinking for alarms when I get a touch probe error, or overheating, etc.

        Mine just-worked(tm). Try it with M300.

        Its mostly up to you to include M300 in the various macros where you may want a beep however.
