      Hello,

While editing my config.g to lower the current at my Z motor to 650mA from 750mA due to a typo i set it to 7650mA.. Of course the moment it started printing i heard a weird noise after the first retraction and i immediately checked the motor, felt it was hot and terminated everything.

Now i corrected the current setting, let it cool and start printing again. At the moment everything seems normal.

My question is, is there a possibility for anything on the board to be damaged by this? Or is any kind of overcurrent protection to prevent really high values?

      Thanks!

the tmc drivers have in build overheating protection and will shut down when they get too hot.
