H1 (extruder) fault after power on

I have the Delta Smart Effector with the PT100 option and the PT100 daughterboard installed in Duet3d 2 Wifi.
I turned off the mains power to the printer when the PT100 sensor (which reports the temperature for the hotend) was reporting 150 Celsius in the WebGUI (DWC).
After some (long) time I turned back on the mains power to the printer. The DWC shows that the hotend has 170 Celsius and then shows H1 Heater Fault. Right off the bat !
I play for some time with alternations of "M562 P1" and DWC's "emergency stop" red button (in the DWC).
Eventually , the things came to their senses and the H1 Heater Fault ceased to pop up.
So what is happening here ? Can't I just turn off the mains power if I am forced to leave the house before the hotend's PT100 sensor goes near room temperature ? I mean, of course I can turn off the mains power whenever I please but I suppose next time I won't be able to 3dprint anything with the Duet 3D wifi + PT100 Delta Smart effector unless I reboot the thing 40-ith times ?
So please anyone can tell if there is a minimal temperature for the H1 and also a minimal temperature for the heatbed above which I should NOT turn off the mains power ?

do i understand you correcly? when you turn on your duet and the hotend is at room temperature it reports 170 degrees?
i would suggest you measure the resistance of your pt100 sensor.

When I measure the PT100 resistance either directly at the ends of its wires, or at the PT100 daughterboard, I see something like 100-ish ohms.
The H1 Faults happens randomly for me but today I admit I had to turn off the mains power for the whole printer (I had to leave the house pronto) while the H1 temperature sensor (namely the PT100) was showing 150 Celsius. I could not wait another 10-20 minutes or so before the the DWC showed that the PT100 was around room temperature.
I am not getting H1 faults at every power on. Just rarely, but I see those errors, nonetheless. That is why I forked the $$$ for the second Delta Smart Effector with the same PT100 option. Still. both the old Delta Smart Effector with its own PT100 sensor, and the new Delta Smart Effector with its own PT100 sensor, throw the same H1 Fault. I have only 1 Duet3d Wifi and only 1 PT100 daughterboard. I rebuilt the cables/crimping at least 5 times until now.
I assume turning off the mains power (while the heater block was still hot---ish) had its part in the last H1 Fault. Since I assume this (turning off the mains power in a hurry) is not something I should as a habit, I am asking the opinion of more knowledgeable people in this website/forum.

the reason why you should not be doing that is because it could clog up the hotend.
the pt100 sensor should not be affected by a main power off.
the pt100 sensor is prone to interference. see if you are running power cables close to the pt100 cables.
