Does anyone have the latest BLtouch(v3 smart) wired and working on any of the Duet boards running RRF v2.02(RTOS)? I currently have an EZABL but I was thinking of replacing it with a BLTouch. I want to make sure it will work before purchasing one. I've read that the BLTouch v3 doesn't work with any firmware(Marlin,RRF, etc.).
If you answered yes was it a direct plugin as far as wiring? By that I mean was there any need to add or remove any capacitors or anything else? I'm really hoping I can just connect the wires to the correct places on the board and configure the RepRapFirmware and everything will run smoothly.

Several people here have gotten it to work without any modification.

          Hi,

          I'm using 2.04 RC1 and a BLTouch v3.0 seems to be working.

Occasionally I get an "alarm" condition where the BLTouch starts flashing. I think it is happening when trying to probe when the starting Z position is too close to the bed.

Thank you both for your reply. I am having serious difficulty getting a consistent z offset with the EZABL. If I can't find a way that works reliably I will be using the BLTouch instead.

If that's happening when using a G30 command with a P parameter, increase the dive height (M558 H parameter). if it's happening when using a plain G30 command (or G30 S-1 etc.) then raise the head a little before the G30 command.

I am new to the Duet but have had the BLTouch v3 working for the last 3 weeks or so. There was no extra steps to do . Just plug directly to the pins described.
