If you are using this combination, do you just essentially have G30 in your Home Z

      or

Do you need to turn of mesh bed levelling with a G29 S2 then run a G30 probe to set Home Z and then turn the Mesh bed levelling back on with G29 S1

I asked a similar question. The answer was "turn off/home/turn on".

I also reset baby stepping before since I thought that might affect homing.

With current firmware, it shouldn't matter whether you probe with the mesh loaded or load it afterwards.

            That's good to know.

It is hard to understand all of the possible interactions and what conditions should exist prior to doing certain things.

Hopefully all such operations are as foolproof as possible, if not now in the future.

            Thanks.
