Manual stealthcChop2 parameters
-
Is there a way to enter stealthChop2 parameters manually, instead of making the drivers figure them out while homing?
-
-
@Veti So that would be the T parameter? I thought T was changing the STEP/DIR interface.
-
what do you want to change? there are several, not just one.
-
@Veti well C, F and Y are for configuring Spreadcycle from what I understand of the datasheet, H and V are for changing the speed where the driver switches from stealthChop to SpreadCycle; D, P, R and S are for setting driver mode of operation, driver number, enable signal and direction. I don't see any other options for stealthChop in there.
-
that leaves B and T
-
again, what do you want to change?
-
@Veti According to the datasheet, the stealthchop2 settings are generated at first motor movement. I'd like to configure them via uart at boot so I don't have to worry about the first movement of the extruder not being fast enough to use peak current and generate correct settings.
-
so you are looking for the c parameter. and that register is not only spreadcycle
