i have an 110v aquarium air pump that i want to use as my main cooling fan, is the pwm signal from the fan pin going to affect the SSR? or will i be fine just running at 255? is there a way to set the fan pin to just be on or off?

1.Setting the PWM value to 255 will effectively turn the pin fully on.
        2. The data sheet for the SSR will tell you what frequency it can handle.
        3. More importantly might be what switching frequency the pump can handle. I doubt you'll find any spec for that do it might be a case of trial and error.

Try setting minium fan speed to 255 on the M106 command.
