Stepper Choice for X/Y/Z axis
-
Hello everyone,
Trying to get some feedback on stepper motors I have chosen for my build. I was thinking of going with these: https://www.omc-stepperonline.com/nema-17-stepper-motor/?mfp=149-step-angle[0.9]
0.9 degree step angle, 3.0mH inductance, 46NCm of torque
Would these be less optimal for the X/Y axis of a machine using Markforged kinematics? I'll be using at least three for the z axis (auto-tramming). Gantry is a piece of 550mm long 2020 aluminum t-slot.

the 2A motors are a good choice.
you dont really need 0.9 for the z axis because of the inherent higher steps/mm.
compare that to the recommended motors for the blv cube.
