    Hello everybody,
I think I made a mistake when connecting a buck converter to connect 12V fans and caused a short circuit. Now all fan connections on the Duet Wifi Board seem to be dead. Hardware Version 1.04
The rest of the board still seems to be working normally. Is this a damage that can be repaired?

As all the fans are dead, check the fan fuse. There are two, one 7.5A for stepper and extruder heaters, and one 1A fuse for the fans. They are located between the endstop connections and the main power terminal.

Checked the 1A fuse, you were right, the fuse has melted. I hope it's just the fuse, thanks a lot for the quick answer.

Fuse replaced, buck converter wiring tripple checked and fixed 🙂 fans are up and running.
I couldn't find a 1A fuse to buy locally, so i bought a pack of 2A rated fuses at the local car supplier.

2A should be fine, as mentioned here : https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/10091/duet-2-wifi-1-amp-fuses-needed-stat/11
