I just got around to updating from duet firmware 1.18 beta 1 to 1.18.1 and it went fine. Then I upgraded to 1.15b and the web interface loads fine but I'm getting the error:

Could not establish a connection to the Duet firmware! Please check your settings and try again.

The firmware appears to be working fine through the panel and the web seems to be serving pages but I no longer have the ability to use the web control with the board.

Do I just need to downgrade to 1.15a of the web control firmware using the USB port?

Are you using a Duet WiFi and if so, are you using the latest official 1.03-ch Duet WiFi Server firmware? Also what does M115 report?

        • Yes, I'm using a Duet WiFi
        • I am running 10.3-ch
        • I'll check when I return home tomorrow night. Sadly, I'm out of town until then.

Could you connect your board via USB to your computer and post the serial log you get when you start it up? I'm wondering if the ESP actually communicates with the Duet's main processor - if not I think your board is faulty and you may require a replacement under warranty.

Of course you can try to downgrade the firmware/web interface versions too and check if that makes any difference.

Update, sometimes it works. Sometimes resetting the wifi a few times works. Sometimes the whole thing goes wonky.

Is nobody else seeing this problem with 1.18.1 and 1.15b?
