      Hello people,

I am currently running my printer with a chinese PSU (300w) that came with my first printer kit. Although it is currently working fine (for almost 2 years now), a bit noisy but fine, i was considering of removing some load from it. I have an ATX PSU laying around from a small factor HP PC i had. It is 250w and my though is to use this ATX psu for my Duet, and the led-type PSU for the heatbed (everything is currently running at 12v).

My question is: Does it matter which one I use for the main (Duet) PSU and which one for the bed? And if i use the ATX as a main PSU should i still use a load resistor just for it to turn on?

      Thanks in advance!

Doesn't really matter which is which, as long as the wattage for the bed is within each.

        Yes to the resistor.

Just curious: Duet 2 or 3?
