      I was trying to find more information on the exact steps required to do the skew compensation feature in reprap firmware. I found a folder of stl files. but no real info on how to proceed.

          Yes ive seen that page/link and the Github link. but its really lacking in clear direction. step by step instructions

            Caveat: this is from the old RepRapPro instructions, and the firmware version running then was 1.05! YMMV.

            But the only reason to use M556 is if you've built your machine skewed. Like all compensation, it's better to get it physically and mechanically square, and run with minimal compensation.
