    Hello,

I plan on moving my printers with a Duet Maestro and Duet 2 Wifi to an office where I we may not have access to the router. Are we able to to connect to Duet Web control via the usb or through direct connection to the ethernet for the maestro?

Yes, via Ethernet will work if you configure static ip in both. You can configure the duet via usb serial port.

      Look up m552 I think

Depending on the age of the PC to which you direct connect, you MIGHT need an ethernet "crossover" cable. Most recent devices figure this out automatically; older devices might need the special cable.

Thanks all. So can my laptop be connected to the wifi in the building, and simultaneously be able to connect to my Maestro using the ethernet? I likely would not be able to use a static ip on the wifi and these would present two different networks?

This is really out of my area.

You can still use wifi with dhcp and internet as usual even if you set a static ip on the wired ethernet interface (just don't specify a gateway address on the wired connection on the pc, and pick a different address range)

@infamous_panda see this post https://forum.duet3d.com/post/113857 which should walk you through the process of setting up your Duet with a direct Ethernet connection.
